Try it on any site

Get this from your own code. The same request as an API call:
What you get
Real browser
Text that JavaScript adds is included. Wait for a selector on single-page apps.
Just the article
A readability pass drops navigation, sidebars, footers and ads.
Metadata for citations
Title, canonical URL, language, description and word count in every response.
Same key, other outputs
Need a screenshot for a vision model, or the page as PDF? Same key, same price.
One request
The response body is the file. Errors come back as JSON with a code you can switch on.

What 1,000 renders cost
We run on our own hardware, so the price per render is a fraction of what most hosted APIs charge.
| Service | Plan | Per 1,000 | Per month | Included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| render-bolt Starter | Starter | $0.60 | $15 | 25,000 renders |
| render-bolt Growth | Growth | $0.39 | $39 | 100,000 renders |

| Firecrawl Standard | Standard | $0.99 | $99 | 100,000 pages |
Free reader services and Cloudflare Browser Run also return Markdown and are fine for light or bursty use. render-bolt is for steady volume at a fixed monthly price, with cookie-banner removal and screenshots or PDFs from the same key.

Questions
Can it crawl a whole site?
No, it reads one page per request. Send include_links: true to get the links and decide which pages to read next.
Does it work on JavaScript apps?
Yes. The page is rendered first. Use wait_until: networkidle or wait_for_selector for pages that load content late.
How do I skip empty pages?
Check metadata.word_count before indexing. A very low count usually means a login wall or a bot challenge.
